With NSUI, you can apply a sleep patch to the rom so that it goes to sleep on your command, but some rom hacks (like Pokemon Clover) do not like this, and will be rendered unplayable. So I have retail cartridges for everything. The problem is how the game is coded to work. The game is still running, which means your battery will be draining as if you are using it. However Iam trying to figure out a way to do it with homebrew.
